We strive to provide optimum care for our patients, and a vital element of patient care is good communication. For that reason, we feel it is important to clearly communicate our financial and insurance policy.
Dental insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. We submit claims as a courtesy to our patients. We are unaware of your particular policy’s details. Dental coverage is determined through negotiations between your employer and the insurance company. We will make every effort to submit a pre-estimate to your insurance company to help determine the probable out-of-pocket cost for dental treatments. This amount is due at the time of service. If your insurance determines that a service is not covered, the complete cost of treatment is your responsibility.
For patients without insurance coverage, payment in full is due at the time of service.
Statements are monthly for accounts that have a balance due. Payment is due within 30 days. Accounts that are unpaid after the third statement may be referred to our collection agency.
Our relationship is with the parent who typically accompanies the child to dental appointments. We are unaware of the details of court orders regarding child custody or divorce agreements. Noncustodial parents will not be billed without their written consent.
For your convenience, we accept:
- Payment plans are available for orthodontic treatment or extensive restorative dental work
Your appointment is time we have set aside to provide personalized care to you. If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide 24-hours notice. This makes it possible for us to better serve each of our patients. A missed appointment fee may be charged if we do not receive proper notice.
